She is a recipient of fellowships to Black Mountain Institute, VONA/Voices Workshop, Community of Writers, Mendocino Coast Writers’ Conference, among others. She serves on the Board of Directors for Apogee Journal.
She received her PhD in Creative Writing and Literature from University of Southern California where she was an Andrew W. Mellon Humanities in a Digital World Fellow who designed digital art objects you can encounter here. Based in Los Angeles, she teaches in the MFA in Creative Writing program at California Institute of the Arts.
